When you turn off your VM, the billing for the usage of the VM is turned off (CPU and RAM). However, the storage (root and data volume if any) and the public IP (excluding the first free public IP) are still being counted and billed. This rule does not apply for the first FREE XSV where RAM, CPU, and storage are free at all time (additional IP other than the first one is still being billed)
-
The benefits of registering a corporate account is that you can get proforma invoices and also tax invoices after payments are completed.
-
If you register through our website, then you will be registered as a retail account. If you wish to register as a corporate account, you need to send an email request to our sales team: sales@leapsolutions.co.th Once received, our sales team will help you register a corporate account.

Leap GIO Cloud portal is accessible from most browsers, but the most recommended ones are Google Chrome latest version and Mozilla Firefox latest version. However, during some rare occasions, you may encounter some minor bugs when the browser is reduced. To solve the issue, maximizing the browser would correct the view most of the time.

Leap GIO Cloud provides the following as complementary features: Firewall, Port Forwarding, Load Balancer, VPN, and snapshots tool (storage of the snapshots is still being charged)

The Root and the Data volumes are the two types of storage used on Leap GIO Public. The Root volume is created at the time the VM is provisioned. It is the main storage of your VM and contains your OS. Depending on if you are using the templates that LSA provides or your own templates, the Root volume size can/cannot be modified. The default size provided by our templates is 50GB and cannot be modified at all. The Data volume is an optional storage and can be added/removed and extended based on your needs. It is usually where you would store everything else, but your OS. The Data Volume cannot be downsized.
-
Leap GIO Cloud carries two types of accounts. Personal and corporate accounts. Personal accounts can only pay by credit card and they have a limitation in terms of resource provisioning. Corporate accounts have more than one way to pay, their resource limitation is much higher, and they are provided with a detailed invoice at the end of each monthly cycle.
-
Leap GIO Cloud provides two types of packages. The hourly package is a pay-as-you-go type where you pay based on the resources you are using and per hour. Once an hour has started, the full hour is counted. The monthly package is a package that is billed monthly. Once a month has started, the whole month is billed. Note that for a Windows license, once you have started a subscription, the license is charged monthly regardless of the type of subscription you have subscribed to (hourly or monthly).
-
We are aware that Windows 2008R2 Standard can only recognize up to 32GB of RAM. However, we also understands that some customers may want to use the maximum number of CPU resources. Therefore, we allow customers to subscribe to XL48 and XXL subscriptions even while they are using Windows 2008R2 Standard.
-
When you Enable Static NAT on an IP address, that IP address is consider 1 to 1. This means that the IP address is assigned to one VM only. When using Static NAT, no action is available on the Web Portal. However, firewall rules can be assigned from the CPBM Portal. Static NAT cannot be enable on the first free public IP.
-
You cannot switch from one type of subscription to another type of subscription for a VM. The only workaround possible is to create a template from your VM, use that template to create a new subscription (the one you want to change to), and terminate the former subscription (the VM will be deleted as well). However, within a type of subscription (hourly or monthly), you can switch from one computing resources to another (XSV to S04 or M08 to S01 for example)
-
No, it is not possible. If you have are already registered as a retail account and want to change to a corporate account, you have to cancel your personal account, create a new corporate account, and rebuild all your resources on your new corporate account.
-
Regarding compute resources, anything done by the Master User can also be done by the Normal User. However, Normal User cannot make changes associated to the account such as adding an additional Normal User or top up (for retail accounts). Note that Master User do not get email notifications of what the Normal User has done.
-
Regardless of the type of subscription you have for a Windows VM (hourly or monthly), once you have subscribed to it, the license is charged monthly.
-
The email sent to you regarding your VM password is not encrypted because Leap Solutions Asia considers that it is a temporary password. LSA encourages its customers to change the password once the VM has been created
-
The promotion code had to be put during the registration process. If it was not done during the registration process of your account, you can no longer use a promotion code.
