Leap Solutions Asia attains 3 SAP certifications ensures the quality of SAP solutions services
Leap Solutions Asia Co., Ltd. (LSA), a leading cloud service provider in Thailand and Asia, has achieved three standard certifications as an “SAP Outsourcing Operations Partner” at SAP’s headquarters in Germany. The certifications include SAP Certified in Cloud Operations, awarded to SAP’s partners who can efficiently provide on-demand infrastructure systems and services for SAP products; SAP Certified in Hosting Services, conferred to SAP’s partners who have demonstrated technical skills and expertise in completely operating and maintaining SAP applications; SAP Certified in SAP HANA Operations, presented to SAP’s partners who have ability to render SAP HANA in-memory computing solutions that have met international standards. The attainment of these internationally-acclaimed standards is expected to heighten enterprise customers’ confidence in SAP applications running on the cloud system and outsourcing services delivered by LSA, as well as ensure that the customers’ business operations are run smoothly and efficiently through the effective ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.
In order to certify Leap as an SAP Outsourcing Operations Partner, SAP dispatches a team to assess the company’s operations and procedures as follows:
Data center assessment –SAP cloud solutions delivered by Leap run on T.C.C Technology’s data center, which has been certified as an SAP Certified Provider of Infrastructure Operations. Factors to be taken into consideration include the data center’s ability to accommodate the SAP system for serving enterprise customers and meet SAP’s operational standards, such as being equipped with a secure data access control system.
People assessment – Leap’s system engineers and staff in charge of maintaining the SAP system must receive standard certifications as specified by SAP to ensure that the personnel responsible for delivering SAP solutions and consultancy to customers actually have extensive knowledge and expertise in the service.
Process assessment – The company must implement the ISO 27001 (Information Security Management System) and ISO 20000 (Services Management System) standards. These affirm that all data is stored in the most secure manner and all service procedures comply with rigorous standards, which in turn reduces risk exposure for the enterprise customers’ SAP system.
