Review of “Leap GIO Public”
Leap GIO Public is the latest Cloud-IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) of Leap Solutions Asia Co., Ltd. (LSA). The service has been innovated to specially cater to SMEs and startup users’ demands for a cloud system that allows them to create their own Virtual Machine. With its ultra performance and user-friendly features, the service enables users to estimate and control their costs effectively, as well as benefit greatly from its unparalleled service fees, which are based on actual usage with minimum hourly rates.
Recently, LSA sent us an account to test its Leap GIO Public. Let’s explore how efficient this service is.
With its easy-to-use interface, we initially found that the service was very convenient for users, for example, it took just a few steps to build your own Virtual Machine on a cloud platform as follows:
- Go to https://myportal.leapgio.cloud and log in to the system
- Enter your Username and Password
- To ensure high system security, you are required to choose a log in with factor authentication, in which the system will send you a one-time password to your registered email that you can use to log in to the system
- Enter your Username and Password
- Create the Virtual Machine (VM)
- If you don’t have a VM, click + to create your new VM
- If you already have your own VM, click Catalog
- If you don’t have a VM, click + to create your new VM
- Choose your Operating System, from Windows Server, Ubuntu or Cent OS. If you have a VM Image, it can be instantly uploaded onto the system.
- Select your OS version
- Select your VM specifications, with details of the CPU, memory units, hourly or monthly usage, with each clearly specifying service rates. You need not create hard disk space as the system comes with a 50GB preset, which should be enough for initial use. However, you can add more storage space if you find it runs out.
- Example of monthly rates
- Example of hourly rates
- Chose a network from the list
- Click Create VM
- Click I agree
- Click Finish
Simple as that, you will find your Virtual Machine is installed and ready to use in just a few seconds.
